Happy Friday! Here are the five things you won’t want to miss this weekend in St. Louis including the South Grand Fall Fest, Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and more!

The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race | September 14 – 15

The Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race is one of the biggest events of the year. It all begins with the Balloon Glow on Friday evening at Ar Hill from 7-9 p.m. Fireworks will follow at 9:15.  After dark, the grounded balloons will be lit.  On Saturday, everyone returns to Forest Park for the big race and live entertainment at noon.  There will be also an entertainment area with inflatables, games mural painting with St. Louis Children’s Hospital and agility demonstrations by the Purina Pro Plan Performance Team dog.

Webster Jazz and Blues Festival | September 15

Last year, 12,000 attendees grooved along to music on two stages.  Festival goers will enjoy live music from two stages, local food, drink and shopping, street entertainers and more. This is a family-friendly event.

Love Beer Festival | September 15

For the first time ever, the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery will host a festival to celebrate great beer and the passionate people who brew it. The celebration, dubbed Love Beer Festival, is a free, family-friendly event open to all beer lovers, giving the St. Louis community a chance to explore their craft beer curiosities and enjoy classic lagers.

5th Annual South Grand Fall Fest | September 15

The South Grand Business District will be hosting their fifth annual Fall Festival on September 15.  With shopping, live music and family activities, Fall Fest on South Grand Blvd is a can’t-miss event for all ages – and it’s free.

Schlafly HOP in the City Festival | September 15

Schlafly is going all out for their 20th HOP in the City Anniversary! Sample over 40 different styles and six specialty tappings that you may not find anywhere else, ever. It’s a day of live, local music, festival fare and brewers getting a chance to show off what they love to do most, create beer.
