Halloween Costume Party Cruise 2017 | October 28
Spend two and a half hours on the Mississippi River with Gateway Riverboat Cruises, ogling great views of our lovely city. The Gateway Arch Riverboat Halloween Costume Party features a cash bar and snacks, as well as spooky decorations. A DJ keeps the dance floor moving, as does the sugar rush from all the candy.
Jerry Seinfeld | October 27
America’s premier comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, will be performing his signature stand-up routine at the Fox Theatre. Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. Seinfeld’s latest project is critically-acclaimed web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which has garnered more than 10 million views, and which the New York Times describes as “impressively complex and artful” and Variety calls “a game changer.”
Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival | October 28 – 29
The delicious smells of apples cooking fills the streets of Kimmswick this weekend for the city’s largest celebration—the Apple Butter Festival. They will stir and cook the giant-sized kettles until the apples are smooth, creamy butter which becomes the star of the show at the event where 500 – 600 food, drink and craft vendors sell their wares. Strains of bluegrass, country rock, and dulcimer music fill the air as musicians perform. Activities for the kids include train rides, petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, climbing wall, and face painters.
St. Louis Blues | October 28
The St. Louis Blues are currently first in their division and this Saturday they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at Scottrade.
