Best of Missouri Market | October 6 – 8

More than 120 food producers and crafters offer baked goods, fresh and dried flowers, herbs, handcrafted items, baskets, wooden toys, custom jewelry and more. Enjoy live music and a kids’ corner with crafts and fall activities, too!

Historic Shaw Art Fair | October 7 & 8

The Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association (SNIA) has hosted the very popular Shaw Art Fair each fall since 1993. Located on the tree-lined parkway of beautiful Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue, the Historic Shaw Art Fair is one of the premier fine art and fine craft fairs in the St. Louis area. It is highly rated by art fair magazines and participating artists. Roughly 135 top caliber artists and craftspeople from around the country are selected each year to participate in the professionally juried event.

Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis | through October 31

It’s a spooky time of year as zombies and ghouls take over the park at Six Flags St. Louis. Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park. The stuff of nightmares lurk around every corner as the dark of night washes over the park. The ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals

Prost! Maplewood’s Toast to Local Beer & Fare | October 7

Take a self-guided tour of St. Louis’ regionally produced beers through the streets of Historic Downtown Maplewood featuring tastings, food pairings, and chats with local brewers. Look for beer infused products by Maplewood’s makers community ranging from soaps and beauty products to breads and chocolates. Plus, a special “Beer in Books” section at The Book House.

Grove Fest | October 7

Grove Fest, the fun, independent, wild, eclectic yearly festival in the Grove neighborhood returns this Saturday. This family friendly event will feature a kid’s zone, street performers, live music and amazing food and drinks from local Grove businesses. If you’re in the mood to shop there will be no shortage of crafts, fashion, and art for purchase from local artist and vendors.
