Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.

Tours at the Central Library

Tour one of St. Louis’ grand spaces.  Built in 1912, the St. Louis Public Library’s flagship, Central Library, is a monument to the past and a cultural beacon for the future. Spanning an entire city block just west of the Convention Center, Central Library is one of St. Louis’ grandest works of art. The magnificent Beaux Arts building was restored to its original grandeur for is 100th anniversary.

Maplewood’s Christmas Tree Walk | December 1

The city of Maplewood kicks off their holiday season with their annual Christmas Tree Walk. The festivities included caroling, the grand lighting of the tree, Santa Claus’ arrival, free carriage rides, and hot chocolate.

South Grand 16th Annual Grinchmas | December 2

Not to let Santa have all the fun this Holiday Season, the Grinch will be out spreading holiday cheer on South Grand and to help raise funds for Shriners Hospitals for Children. For a $7 donation to the hospital, participants can get their photo taken with the Grinch. Those who bring a toy donation for the children at Shriners Hospitals for Children photo, $5.

10th Annual Print Bazaar on Cherokee | December 2

One of the biggest print sales in the Midwest, offering handmade printed work from local and regional artists. This year, more than 40 artists and local businesses are participating. There will also be demonstrations, tours, and customized print-as-you-wait projects. Pick up a hand-printed passport listing the artists and venues at STL-Style, Foam, or Blank Space, and get it stamped as you make your way along Cherokee

Central West End Window Walk | December 2 – 23

The Central West End neighborhood kicks off the holiday season with a window walk and street festival. The fun begins on December 2 at 1pm with live entertainment, ice carving, children activities, s’mores station and more while you browse for your favorite Holiday window display.
