2016 U.S. Chess Championships | April 13 – 30
The 2016 U.S. Championship held at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis is an elite national championship event, featuring 12 of the strongest chess players in America. Over the course of eleven rounds, these competitors will battle for $194,000 in prize money, qualification into the World Championship cycle, and the coveted title of 2016 U.S. Champion.
ThurtenE Carnival | April 15 – 17
If you’re in the search for something to do outside that is fun and the magical word, free, then stop by the ThurtenE Carnival brought to you by Washington University’s student body. Come for food, games, rides and live performances while also taking time to get to know the uniqueness, creativity and hard work of the students.
The Color Run | April 16
The Color Run®, the largest 5k event series in the world, rolls into St. Louis on Saturday, April 16. Thousands of runners are expected to converge in downtown St. Louis.
