St. Louis Microfest | May 5-6
The St. Louis Microfest is one of the premiere festivals in the St. Louis area. Microfest is a beer tasting festival that offers festivals goers the chance to sample international and craft beers at 3 different session times over 2 days. The festival also includes live music, silent auction, food, live brewer and chef demonstration, and more than enough fun.
The 2017 Cinco de Mayo festival will take place on Saturday, May 6th from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Cherokee Street, between Nebraska and Jefferson. The festival will pack Cherokee Street with people enjoying authentic food, drinks, music and entertainment. The festival strives to support as many artists as possible through this event.
Tennessee Williams Festival | May 3 – 7
The city of St. Louis again celebrates the world-renowned Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright – Tennessee Williams – with the 2nd Annual Tennessee Williams Festival St. Louis, , in venues across the Grand Center Theatre District. The local celebrates the Magic of Other this year. The Magic of the Other is a thread through all of his hundreds of plays, poems, stories, and essays.
The odds will definitely be in your favor when you join the Saint Louis Science Center for First Friday: The Hunger Games. Each month the you can enjoy the real science behind science fiction at First Fridays! This Friday, they will have Hunger Games themed activities throughout the Science Center.
Disney’s the Lion King | May 4 – 7
It’s the final weekend to see the beloved Disney movie at the Fox Theatre! This beloved disney movie has gone on to become a just-as-beloved musical. With more than 80 million people around the world have experienced the awe-inspiring visual artistry, the unforgettable music, and the uniquely theatrical storytelling of this Broadway spectacular – one of the most breathtaking and beloved productions ever to grace the stage.
