Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.
PrideFest St. Louis 2017 | June 23 – 25
PrideFest again brings music, dance, and a joyful celebration of St. Louis’ LGBT community to the streets of downtown. Friday night opens with food trucks, cocktails, and an outdoor screening of La La Land. On Saturday, there’s an LGBT military wreath-laying ceremony; performances by Pride Idol winners, including Charis, Gateway Men’s Chorus, Alison Porter, Jessica Sanchez, and more; performances by Circus Kaput; and lots of food and libations. On Sunday, the festival opens with the 8th annual Pride 5K, followed by an interfaith service, the Grand Pride Parade, a drag review, and the parade awards, plus performances by Blu Cantrell, Brandon Stansell, and Laura Bell Burdy.
The Muny: Disney’s The Little Mermaid | June 23 – 25
Disney fans will love this live-action musical of The Little Mermaid, performed under the stars at the Muny. Tickets are going fast, so grab seats now. Shows start at 8:15 p.m. Tickets start at $15, and every night the Muny gives away 1,450 free seats (the back 9 rows) on a first come, first serve basis.
St. Louis Cardinals vs Pittsburgh Pirates | June 23 – 25

This weekend celebrate the arts in the Delmar Loop! The gallery walk kicks off the weekend with new work on view at Craft Alliance, Sole & Blues, Componere Gallery of Art, The Silver Lady, Subterranean Books, Plowsharing Crafts, Serendipity Gallery, and the Regional Arts Commission. Then on Saturday, Chalk the Loop invites everyone to come out and unleash their creativity on Delmar’s sidewalks, with prizes for the most creative chalk drawing, the best Walk of Fame theme, and more. John Witherspoon: Helium Comedy Club | June 23 – 25
Whether you’ve seen him as Lloyd on Adult Swim’s hit series “Black Jesus,” or as Ice Cube’s (Craig’s) father in the “Friday” trilogy, there’s no mistaking John Witherspoon’s ability to bring down the house in uproarious laughter. See him all weekend long at the Helium Comedy Club.
