Pridefest St. Louis | June 24 – 26
For the 5th year, St. Louis stands together in solidarity for St. Louis Pride Fest. Located in Downtown St. Louis, the event runs from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. The festival includes a movie night of “Hairspray” on Friday with local food trucks in attendance, a bike race and volley ball tournament on Saturday and of course the parade on Sunday at noon. 42nd Street | June 24 – 30
42nd Street is back on the Muny stage for the first time in 7 years! Full of extravagant dance numbers and lots of tap dancing, 42nd Street tells the behind the scenes story of making it big on Broadway.
Shakespeare in the Park – A Midsummer Nights Dream | June 24 – 26
It’s the final weekend for Shakespeare in the Park! See the renowned New York actress and Olivier nominee Nancy Anderson play the role of Titania in Shakespeare Festival St. Louis’ production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Forest Park. Enjoy a night of Shakespeare comedy, along with Schlafly’s “1616” beer, exclusively for Shakespeare in the Park. Shows start at 8pm
Route 66: Main Street Through St. Louis Exhibit | June 25 – July 16
Known as the “Mother Road” and the “Main Street of America,” Route 66 plays an important role in American history and myth. But the famous road also has a story to tell about the St. Louis area and how it has changed. In Route 66: A St. Louis Street the local history of this world-famous highway is explored. Head to the Missouri History Museum to get your kicks by learning stories about the motels, custard stands, and tourist traps that could be found along the road as it passed through St. Louis. Visitors will see a number of artifacts ranging from gas pumps to roadside signs and will even get a chance to drive the road themselves.
Vintage Bliss Market | June 25 – 26
The third annual Vintage Bliss Market brings the best of St. Louis vintage vendors to Westport Plaza. Everything from jewelry to home furnishings will be available for purchase. Further activities include live music, giveaways, workshops, and food from local restaurants.
