Blues at the Arch Concert Series | Friday, August 12
Friday nights in August are going to provide some amazing sounds as Luther Ely Smith Square will come to life with the Blues at the Arch concert series that takes flight on Aug. 12. Presented in cooperation with the National Blues Museum and the CityArchRiver Foundation, these concerts will celebrate the connection between Blues music and our national story. Headlining the opening night is Phi (a talented group of young musicians who perform Blues, Rock, and many other genres) and the world-renowned Blues legend, Vasti Jackson.
#BEER Fest | Saturday, August 13
Head to Old Rock House to celebrate and drink unlimited samples from local breweries. #BEER Fest features six local breweries, including Schlafly Beer, Civil Life Brewing Company, Urban Chestnut Brewing Co, 4 Hands brewing Co, The Modern Brewery and The Old Bakery Beer Company.

AIDA | Thru Sunday, August 14
The Muny’s season is quickly coming to a close, but you still have time to see Aida featuring the incomparable Michelle Williams. This unforgettable tale is set in ancient Egypt and follows the story of forbidden love between the Ethiopian princess Aida and her Egyptian captor. You won’t want to miss Williams’ performance and the memorable score with songs written by Elton John, including “Written in the Stars,” “The Gods Love Nubia” and “Elaborate Lives.”
