Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.
St. Louis World’s Fare Heritage Festival | August 18 – 20
The St. Louis World’s Fare Heritage Festival returns for its fourth year at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park. Attracting thousands, the festival invites you to experience a wide range of entertainment and food with a historic twist including tons of activities from music to art, a 1904 World’s Fair exhibit and games, as well as the world business expo, Ferris wheel, mixology challenge and more.
Festival of Little Hills | August 18 – 20
One of the best craft fairs in the St. Louis area is the Festival of the Little Hills in St. Charles. Historic Main Street and Frontier Park are filled with booths selling everything from jewelry and art, to kids clothes and holiday decorations. More than 300 vendors from 30 states set up shop during the three day event. Shopping isn’t the only attraction though. There’s live music, kids activities and some of the best festival food around.
St. Lou Fringe | August 17 – 26
St Lou Fringe Festival is a 2 week immersion in cutting edge performing arts, connecting brave artists with bold audiences. Imagine drama, dance, comedy, music, slam/spoken word, performance art, fashion, vaudeville, circus arts – all concentrated within several city blocks in an explosive pressure cooker of artistic expression. On any given night, there are half-a-dozen shows with street performers roaming the festival grounds. Patrons can vote for their favorite shows but will never be able to see everything the festival offers. St Lou Fringe will blossom a developing local neighborhood into a creative hotspot destination and will expose patrons to new art forms, and the limitless world of creative possibility.
Blues at the Arch | August 18
St. Louis’ rich Blues heritage is celebrated with live music every Friday in August. Visitors are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from vendors on site and coolers and picnics are allowed. This Friday’s concert will feature Carolyn Mason, Mickey Rogers, and David Dee
MOJO Craft Beer & Music Festival | August 19
The first annual MOJO Craft Beer & Music Festival will feature a full day of music, including Story of the Year, P.O.D, Unwritten Law, The Orwells, Lucky Boys Confusion and Joe Dirt and The Dirty Boys Band, built on top of a foundation that consists of the world’s top rated breweries, cideries, and locally sourced craft food vendors. 21+ Only Event
