Happy Friday! It’s time for another fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together for the weekend, here are a few suggestions to help.

Great Forest Park Balloon Glow & Race | September 15 – 16

You know fall is just around the corner in St. Louis when you see hot air balloons drifting through the sky.  It all starts on Friday night for the balloon glow, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. And then make sure you return on Saturday to watch the race and catch all the activities, including a children’s entertainment area, skydivers and more.

Hop in the City Beer Festival | September 16

Throughout the year, the team at Schlafly brews a ton of different beers. They set aside one day in September for you to come enjoy a plethora of these delicious brews in one place…HOP in the City. HOP showcases their passion for all styles of beer – 40 styles and 6 specialty tappings to be exact. Join Schlafly at the Tap Room this weekend to sample everything from hopped-up IPAs and wood-aged beers to traditional ales and lagers.  You can also enjoy live local music and a special menu of festival fare from our brewpubs.

2017 Shakespeare in the Streets: Blow Winds | September 15 – 17

Shakespeare St. Louis Blow, Winds will be performed on the steps of St. Louis Public Library.  The story will use the Bard’s King Lear to create an epic theme that encompasses the entire city of St. Louis, not just one neighborhood. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sit in the closed street or the adjacent park.

South Grand Fall Festival | September 16

The South Grand Business District presents its first Fall Festival. Local artists, musicians, dancers, homebrewers, restaurants and shops will all come together to celebrate South Grand. The event runs from 10am to 10pm with events taking place in and around Ritz Park.

Old Webster Jazz and Blues Festival | September 16

Non-stop jazz and blues music from two stages showcasing St. Louis’ most talented performers plus food and drink from area restaurants. There will also be street entertainers with face-painting, juggling and balloons.
