Q in the Lou: St. Louis BBQ Festival | September 29 – October 1
ll barbecue lovers should make tracks for Q in the Lou which returns for its third year at the newly transformed Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis. This is a celebration full of flavorful seasoned, grilled and smoked meats from top BBQ chefs from St. Louis and around the country which also features great live music and cold drinks.
Anheuser-Busch Oktoberfest | September 28 – October 1
Can’t make it to Munich this year? Join Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery to celebrate Oktoberfest with a full lineup of traditional Oktoberfest festivities. Visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of German-style beers and seasonal favorites, paired with traditional German fare such as bratwursts and Bavarian pretzels. Visitors can also participate in traditional German games and enjoy live German music and entertainment.
American Arts Experience St. Louis | September 29 – October 15
For two weeks each October the American Arts Experience – St. Louis will fill concert halls, museums, theaters, universities and outdoor spaces in the St. Louis area with dozens of performances and shows by renowned American artists and companies in disciplines ranging from symphonic music to jazz and singer-songwriters, theater by American playwrights and dance by American companies to major American visual artists.
AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals | September 29 – October 1
Get ready as NHRA roars back to St. Louis for a full weekend of nitro burning action that is sure to shake you to the core! Shawn Langdon raced to his third victory of the year – Jack Beckman (Funny Car), Alex Laughlin (Pro Stock) and Jerry Savoie (Pro Stock Motorcycle) were also victorious – Who will raise the wally in 2017?
Zootoberfest | October 1, 7 and 8
Enjoy a new take on Oktoberfest with some Saint Louis Zoo flair! Each weekend, families can enjoy special menus, live music, seasonal drinks and activities to celebrate an autumnal weekend of family fun. Visitors can purchase beer, bratwurst and other German specialties. Admission is FREE!
