Grab a bite at Baiku Sushi Lounge or Triumph Grill, located onsite, then take in a show at one of the many Grand Center venues nearby, or reserve a couple of the hotel’s house bikes and explore the neighborhood.

Hotel St. Louis

Located in the historic Union Trust Company Building (ca 1893), Downtown’s latest hotel is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection Hotels group. Much of the building’s original appointments have been restored, including the terra cotta trim work and cast-iron accents, and stunning new features like the reimagined stained-glass atrium that crowns the lobby have been added. The 142 guest rooms boast custom touches like vintage record players with a selection of vinyl and rugs and headboards patterned after the Gateway Arch. Culinary connoisseurs will appreciate the hotel’s restaurant, Union 30, which serves up an expansive menu of dishes inspired by the city and its history.

The Last Hotel

(coming summer 2019)

Ensconced in the restored Art Deco opulence of the International Shoe Company Building in Downtown’s former garment district, the vibe here is distinctly historic, from the ornate stone and iron work to the terrazzo floors and bespoke leather accents in the 142 guest rooms. The hotel features plenty of culinary options from The Last Kitchen restaurant, which serves up a decidedly meat-forward menu of hearty Midwestern fare, and The Last Pantry, where guests can pick up some of the sauces, pickles and other tastes of the Kitchen to take home.

Moonrise Hotel

One of the linchpins in the resurgence of the nationally renowned Delmar Loop, this decidedly quirky modern hotel is adjacent to concert venues The Pageant and Delmar Hall and within walking distance of all of the shopping, eating and drinking destinations that make The Loop one of the city’s most lively and engaging areas. Grab a bite at Eclipse restaurant adjacent to the lobby, indulge in a drink or two and take in the view on the rooftop terrace, then get out and experience what The Loop is all about.

Seven Gables Inn

Nestled on the northern edge of downtown Clayton, this longtime St. Louis favorite, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, stands out for its 1920s ambiance and unique Tudor Revival architecture. The hotel is located near two of St. Louis’ premier green spaces—Shaw Park and Forest Park—and some of the city’s finest restaurants and nightlife destinations are mere blocks away. Its central location makes Seven Gables an ideal base for an exploration of the best of St. Louis.

Angad Arts Hotel

Situated in the middle of the city’s bustling Grand Center Arts District, the Angad is within easy walking distance of some of St. Louis’ premier cultural destinations like The Fabulous Fox Theatre, Powell Symphony Hall and the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. As befits the hotel’s name and its location in the classic Missouri Theater Building, art of all types is central to the Angad experience. Art in a variety of media from St. Louis artists adorn the space, and the Angad is the first hotel in the world where rooms can be reserved based on the “emotion of color”—the 146 guest rooms are available in green for rejuvenation, blue for tranquility, yellow for happiness and red for passion. The hotel’s restaurant, Grand Tavern by David Burke, features a menu of the celeb chef’s signature dishes as well as new creations.

Magnolia Hotel St. Louis

Part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio group of hotels, the Magnolia has been a fixture Downtown since the 1920s when it opened as the Mayfair Hotel. Legend has it the practice of leaving chocolates on guests’ pillows began here thanks to cinema icon Cary Grant. While the building is historic, the interior and amenities are distinctly modern, including a state-of-the-art fitness center. Destinations like the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium and City Museum are just minutes away.
