Hi, my name is Dominic I am 12 years old and I’m in 6th grade. These are a few things I did this summer. The first thing I did was go to a St. Louis Cardinals game. I got to walk the field at the beginning because I played baseball over the summer for Affton. The game was really fun even though it rained a little. It was okay with me because I got to have nachos.  We won which made the wait all worth it. We also went to a Grizzlies game. I got to eat more nachos and we sat close to the field. At the end of the game we got autographs from some of the players.

The third thing that we did was go to Fitz’s. There I got to watch them bottle some soda, it was so cool. You can see that in my video. The food was good, and the root beer floats were as big as my head. We also went to Six Flags. Six Flags was fun, and I rode almost all the rides (except for the Superman and the Mr. Freeze). It was a lot of walking and I got tired quickly, but I stopped at the Moose Burger and that gave me energy right away.

The fifth thing that we did this summer was going to the St. Louis Zoo. There we didn’t see many animals because it was so hot, but the things that we did see were cool. We got to pet and feed the stingrays.  It tickles when they suck the food off your hand!  My favorite animal that I saw was a puma. I also thought the sea lion show was cool. The last thing that I went to this summer was the Arch. We looked in the new museum and learned all about the history of the Arch. I was nervous on the ride up, but once we made it to the top, I was happy I did it.  I could see very far away.  You can see those pictures in my video as well.

There are so many fun things to do in St. Louis.  I wish summer was longer then maybe I would have time to visit more of my favorites like the Science Center, the City Museum, and the Muny.
