No matter your age, interests or budget, you’ll find something fun to do in St. Louis this weekend.
City Winery St. Louis and St. Louis Arts presents Aida Ade live on Saturday, December 7th at 7:30pm!
Aida Ade is a singer/songwriter born and based in St. Louis, Missouri. Born January 29, 1994 in the Fairgrounds neighborhood, the artist was exposed to musicianship at a young age. This exposure led Aida to start writing music at the age of six years old. Aida spent most of her early years studying violin and viola, being classically trained and groomed for the symphony, having some appearances at Powell Symphony Hall and with the Alton Symphony and Alton Youth Symphony. Although Aida still possesses a passion for classical viola, upon completion of her Bachelor’s degree, Aida decided to pursue vocal music. In May of 2017, Aida performed for the first time in celebration of her very first EP, Soundwheel, which included an ode to her home in St. Louis, drawing from the influence of her community. Since then, she has released three other EPs , including her most recent EP “The Unbreakable Aida Ade”. Aida’s music has reached a worldwide audience. She has performed in Bluefields, Jamaica as well as around the country.
