Cementland: Bob Cassilly’s Unfinished Masterpiece will show at the St. Louis Public Library – Central Library until Sept. 22.
The photography exhibit by Richard Sprengeler showcases the last project of Cassilly, a sculptor and visionary who aimed to turn an abandoned cement factory in North St. Louis into a castle-themed amusement park.
The 50-acre theme park, known as Cementland, was the site of Cassilly’s tragic death, and it remains undeveloped today.
