Delmar Loop Holiday Celebrations

One of St. Louis’ most historic and eclectic shopping districts, the Delmar Loop is ready for the season of giving. With holiday decorations already in full swing, the district invites the region to explore more than 120 independent businesses, offering handmade goods, games, beauty, jewelry, and more. The celebration reaches its peak on Saturday, December 6, when the street hosts a full day of annual holiday traditions, including the Cookie Crawl, pet and family pictures with Santa, caroling and the Fitz’s Tree Lighting.

Free for all ages, activities will span the day Saturday, December 6, throughout the Delmar Loop:

• Cookie Crawl: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  More than 20 Loop businesses will offer complimentary holiday cookies as guests explore the district’s unique shops and restaurants. Visitors can collect cookies, shop for gifts, and experience the seasonal energy of one of St. Louis’ most vibrant commercial corridors.
• Pics with Pups: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  Pet owners are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the Moonrise Hotel (6177 Delmar Blvd.) for festive photos with Santa. This annual favorite captures joyful holiday memories and showcases the Loop’s welcoming, pet-friendly atmosphere.
• Performances from Caroling St. Louis (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM), Tammy’s Tumbling and Dance Center (3:30 PM - 4:15 PM) and Dancing Santas (5:30 PM). The district will be alive with holiday songs, dance and more throughout the day.
  
• Fitz’s Annual Tree Lighting (6:00 PM) The day concludes with the beloved Fitz’s Tree Lighting Ceremony outside Fitz’s Root Beer. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full experience leading up to the sparkling tree lighting moment.
