Eckert’s will host an exclusive, multi-course, farm-to-table dinner in partnership with guest chef Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box at its Belleville, Illinois, farm on Oct. 12.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Eckert’s pick-your-own apple season, all four courses of the special dinner will feature the farm’s homegrown apples and/or apple cider. Carefully crafted by Nalic, every apple-infused dish will be paired with one of Eckert’s signature hard ciders. Guests will also receive a welcome drink, a tractor ride around the farm and a pick-your-own apple experience.
Eckert’s will donate a portion of proceeds from the farm-to-table dinner to Operation Food Search to help ensure that all St. Louis residents have access to the food that they need to live healthy lives.
