Free Seed Swap and Worm Composting Workshop

Spring into Gardening at Our Annual Patio Party on Sunday, April 13, 11am-1pm! Join us at City Greens Market (4260 Manchester Avenue) in The Grove for our annual Spring Patio Party, a fun-filled celebration of community, gardening, and good food! This free event welcomes all—bring your friends, family, and love for green spaces.

*Free Seed Swap – Get your hands on a variety of seeds for your 2025 garden! Bring seeds to share (not required) and take home new favorites. Special thanks to Urban Farm and Forage for making this possible!

*Worm Composting Workshop (12:30 PM) – Ever wondered how to turn kitchen scraps into garden gold? Ro's Wigglers will teach you how to create rich compost with a worm bin.

*Self-Care with Salad – Fuel up with a fresh, nutrient-packed salad from Bee Simple City Farm, featuring locally grown microgreens. Available to-go for a ready-made lunch or dinner!

*Free Chili Cook-Off – Our legendary chili bar is back, loaded with all the toppings you love. Grab a steaming bowl of homemade chili, and cast your vote for the winner!

*Kids’ Planting Activity – Little green thumbs can plant a seed and take it home to watch it grow, courtesy of Urban Farm and Forage.

*Connect with Library Resources – Feed your mind with gardening books and information from the St. Louis Public Library!
