Joe Torry

Joe Torry is one of the most memorable comedians of HBO's Def Comedy Jam and is still making people laugh on stage and at the box office after 30+ years in Hollywood. Torry has carved a solid niche for himself with his unique style of comedy and doesn't pre-re-hearse his scripts. He uses the energy of the audience to unleash his raw and unfiltered comedic style.

In 2006, Torry was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside legends such as Richard Pryor, Geroge Carlin, and Jerry Lewis.

Growing up, Torry knew he was funny when he would present his projects for show and tell and all the kids would laugh hysterically. It was then he knew comedy would be in his future.
