Madrina the Italian-American neighborhood restaurant in Webster Groves, will host the Silk Road Dinner Series, a three-part dinner experience celebrating diversity in the St. Louis culinary space.

The Silk Road Dinner Series will be hosted monthly beginning on Wednesday, June 18, through August. Helmed by Executive Chef Tim Adams, the series brings together some of St. Louis’ most celebrated culinary talents: Chef Julie Troung of DD Mau, 2025 James Beard semifinalist Nick Bognar of Indo and Sado, and 2025 James Beard Finalist Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box.

Madrina will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the series to the International Institute of St. Louis, which champions immigrant and refugee communities to thrive to create a welcoming, prosperous, and healthy region.

Wednesday, July 16 at 6 p.m.: Guest Chef Nick Bognar of Indo and Sado
A fusion of Bognar’s Southeastern Asian cuisine and Italian-American recipes.

Wednesday, August 20 at 6 p.m.: Guest Chef Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box
Guests will experience Italian-American techniques with bold, Balkan flavors.
