National Public Lands Day

September 24, 9:00 am TO 5:00 pm | St. Louis Riverfront | Free

National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest single-day volunteer effort. It celebrates the connection between people and green spaces in their community, inspires environmental stewardship and encourages the use of open space for education, recreation and wellness.

Gateway Arch National Park, Gateway Arch Park Foundation, Beyond Plastics and Living Lands & Waters have partnered to organize a community trash pick-up event to help clean up the St. Louis Riverfront. Recruit your friends and family members and lend a helping hand!

Riverfront cleanups are 9 to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. As part of the program, there will also be a yoga session at 9:30 a.m., and from 2 to 5 p.m., B.A.R.K. Superintendents (dog ambassadors) will lead a B.A.R.K. Ranger walk around the park.
