Nutcracker Storytime – Visit to the Land of Sweets

Join Leverage Dance Theater for a Nutcracker Storytime and kid friendly tour of the Land of Sweets. During this Leverage interactive holiday experience, audiences will have a traditional version of the "Nutcracker" read to them by characters in the story. They will then travel up the stairs and be guided to Land of Sweets Garden by the Nutcracker & the Sugar Plum Fairy where they will experience short excerpts of dances from the show, play games and engage in movement activities that will bring the Nutcracker experience to life. Each child will have the opportunity to sample a treat from the Land of Sweets.

After the event, families may visit the Candy Cane, Marzipan, Sweet Tea, Hot Chocolate, Licorice and Gingerbread rooms for great photo ops.

Tickets: Tickets are by donation. Space is limited. It is recommended to request tickets in advance. Leverage wants to make sure that everyone has the chance to experience the joy and wonder of live performances. Ages: All ages welcome. Activities designed for ages 3-10. Children must be accompanied.
