No matter your age, interests or budget, you’ll find something fun to do in St. Louis this weekend.
A pioneering dance innovator, noted for decades of collaborations with leading forces in avant-garde jazz, Dianne McIntyre returns to The Black Rep with a major new work featuring a score by celebrated composer Diedre Murray and poems by Obie-winning playwright Ntozake Shange. This elegant and captivating work employs a live jazz ensemble and a company of dancers to explore the deep rivers of communication in our artistic expressions, in our personal expressions and in our cultural history expressions.
With original music by celebrated composer Diedre Murray and poetry by the late Ntozake Shange, this contemporary work incorporates live music with dance vignettes.
Presented with support from PNC Arts Alive and NEFA.
