The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra season opens with pure magic.
After 21 years, violinist Hilary Hahn, one of the world’s leading soloists, will return to the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra on Sept. 23 and 24. Hahn mixes brilliance with heart in one of her favorite concertos, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.
Music director Stéphane Denève will also lead audiences on an enchanted journey from Mozart’s The Magic Flute to Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to Strauss’ Don Juan and Till Eulenspiegel.
