The Wall That Heals

This summer, Jefferson Barracks Park will be hosting The Wall That Heals - a three quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. The Wall will be coming to St. Louis from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund - the keepers and creators of The Wall. St. Louis is proud to have been selected from over 130 applicants for this unique honor.

The Wall will be at Jefferson Barracks Historic Site in Saint Louis County, located at 399 CCC Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125 July 24th through 27th.

Events will include a motorcycle escort, Opening Ceremony, PTSD candlelight ceremony and the playing of Taps each evening at sunset.

Since its unveiling on Veterans Day in 1996, The Wall That Heals, has traveled to nearly 800 communities across the United States, bringing the memorial’s healing legacy to millions. This traveling exhibit, including a mobile Education Center, allows veterans and their families to experience the memorial’s comfort and peace within their own communities, aiding the healing process for many who have struggled with confronting painful memories.
