Fall in Love with St. Louis this Valentine’s Day 2019

Valentine’s Day is just under a month away. Celebrate love in a special way with the help of romantic settings in the St. Louis area. St. Louis is ready to accommodate you for Valentine’s Day 2019 with host of world-class attractions, timeless performances, premier hotels and award –winning restaurants. Shen Yun (Feb. 8-10) at the Stifel Theatre will take audiences on an enlightening journey through 5,000 years of classical Chinese dance and stories of the past.

While The Orchid Show (Feb. 2-Mar. 24) at Missouri Botanical Garden invites guests to immerse themselves in a tropical oasis of vibrant orchids.

The Saint Louis Ballet presents Balanchine’s Rubies and other Love Stories (Feb. 15-16) with ruby red costumes and performances by major companies throughout the world – this romantic ballet is well suited for Valentine’s weekend.

The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis will present a special a four-course Valentine’s dining experience at The Restaurant offered from 6-9 p.m. on Feb. 14-16. The hotel will also offer a Valentine’s Afternoon Tea every Saturday in February and a Special Occasions overnight package.

Royal Valentine packages at The Cheshire Hotel will offer the royal treatment for you and your sweetheart. With this special package, enjoy a $50 food and beverage credit to Boundary or Basso, chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and more.

The Saint Louis Zoo is offering a romance with three-course dinners by candlelight for you to share with someone special Feb. 8-9 from 6-10 p.m. Pre-paid reservations are required, and seating is limited.

Specialty menus will be offered at Ruth’s Chris, Drunken Fish and Favazza’s Restaurant. Reservations are recommended.

People of all ages will be dancing as one of the Midwest’s finest Big Bands performs in the beautiful Centennial Ballroom at Moulin Events on Saturday, Feb. 9th, 7-10 p.m. Guests can purchase tickets by calling 314-621-1996. Left Bank Books is hosting a kid-friendly Celebrity Storytime on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. with author and illustrator, Jessie Sima, who will read copies of her new book Love, Z, a story of a young robot trying to find the meaning of “love.”

Do something unforgettable this Valentine’s Day, Thursday, Feb. 14 — target practice at the Axes and Os Valentine’s Mixer at Amp Up Action Park from 4-9 p.m. You can come solo and mingle with the coolest people in St. Louis or bring someone special with you.
