Friday, April 6 – The traditional piano and guitar driven blues duo Nick Pence and Ethan Leinwand come to Schlafly Bottleworks. 9 pm, no cover.

Saturday, April 7 – Everyone’s favorite country quartet known for their big-hearted harmonies, Little Big Town, come to the Chaifetz Arena. They are promoting their album from late last year, The Breaker. 7:30 pm, $42–$600.

Sunday, April 8 – For something completely different, head down to the Kismet Creative Center where the vinyl store/creative space is offering up some room for a special concert by local percussionist Drew Gowran. This particularly happening features guest artist Sarah Wahoff. 3 pm, no cover.

What the Locals Know: Hammerstone’s has live music every night, and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Every Wednesday from 4-7 they feature the acoustic duo Margaret & Eric, a local treasure. There’s never a cover for any of their entertainment.

Music Note of Note: Are you a member of the St. Louis Jazz Club? Well, what are you waiting for? This organization works to preserve, support and encourage traditional jazz in our city. They put on special concerts a couple of times of month putting the spotlight on the best local jazzers we have.
