St. Louis CVC takes the Gold at HSMAI Adrian Awards
St. Louis takes home the Gold! Two of our marketing campaigns – “Meet St. Louis Again” and “St. Lou is…Pet Friendly” – won Gold Awards on Monday during the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) 2014 Adrian Awards in New York City. The Adrian Awards are the world’s largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition, recognizing outstanding achievements in advertising, digital marketing and public relations. In total, the CVC took home seven Adrian Awards (two Gold, two Silver and three Bronze).
“Our team is focused on creating unique and memorable campaigns for our many audiences and stakeholders,” said Brian Hall, chief marketing officer of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission. “The Adrian Awards recognize not only our hard work, but that we are one of the leaders in our industry for effectively marketing our destination with travel and leisure customers, as well as meeting and event planners from across the nation.”
More than 1,200 entries were submitted for this year’s competition and were judged by hospitality, travel, tourism and media professionals. Each entry was carefully evaluated based on their own merits and success in achieving their objectives. The two CVC campaigns garnering Gold recognition were the digital marketing piece, Meet St. Louis Again, and the advertising entry, St. Lou is…Pet Friendly.
