Press Trips

We're happy to host you!

Want to immerse yourself in STL culture? Our communications team will work with you to develop an itinerary tailored to what you want to see, do and experience while you're in the Gateway City.

We ask that you contact us no less than four weeks out from the dates you'd like to visit St. Louis to ensure that we're able to build an itinerary that fits your reporting needs. Just send an email to Catherine Neville, our vice president of communications, with the following information:

  • When you would like to visit and any specific experiences you’d like to have while you’re here.
  • Assignment details, including publication name and assigning editor, along with the anticipated publication date. If working for broadcast media, include the name of the program, audience numbers and expected time and date of broadcast.
  • The number of people traveling on assignment and their names. (Explore St. Louis is not able to accommodate a spouse or partner unless he/she is officially assigned to the same story and we are not able to accommodate children.)
  • The number of rooms requested and whether you require any special accommodations.
    • Please be aware that accommodations cannot always be secured at a complimentary or discounted media rate due to high season, holidays or conventions. In that case, you will have to pay the applicable lodging costs.
    • Please let us know if the lodging properties where you stay will be mentioned in the story or receive credit at the end of the broadcast.
  • Explore St. Louis does not provide complimentary airfare, meals, ground transportation, tour guides or translators.
  • We assess requests on an individual basis and cannot guarantee assistance will be provided on a complimentary basis.

Giving us as much information as possible will help expedite your request and help us assist you with your specific story needs. We look forward to working with you!
