Fall is here in St. Louis! Here are ten events happening in St. Louis this October.
Best of Missouri Market | October 5 – 7
Shop from over 120 regional food producers and crafters offering fresh produce, baked goods, fresh and dried flowers, herbs, handcrafted items, baskets, wooden toys, custom jewelry and more. Live music and a Kids Corner with cow milking, pumpkin decorating and barnyard animals.
Historic Shaw Art Fair | October 6 – 7
Check out art from 135 exhibitors as you stroll along the Historic Shaw district at the Shaw Art Fair. Admire the surrounding architecture, walk your dog, enjoy fare from food vendors and bring the kids for fun in the activity tent. Proceeds benefit the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association.
Grove Fest | October 6
The annual street festival is a favorite fall event for many in the Grove neighborhood in St. Louis. The celebration runs from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. It features an eclectic mix of music, art, food and street performers. The festival is held along Manchester Avenue between Kingshighway and Vandeventer Avenue.
Craftoberfest 2018 | October 11
Craftoberfest is St. Louis’ first open-air night market showcasing the best in modern craft + design. Returning for its 7th year, Craftoberfest 2018 will feature over 35 local makers, designers, curators + creative entrepreneurs, as well as locally brewed craft beer, live music, and Tarot readings under the stars and twinkling lights of Urban Chestnut’s Midtown Brewery + Biergarten.
Haunted Houses | Throughout October
There are several places to go when you want a real Halloween fright in St. Louis. The Darkness Haunted House in Soulard is ranked as one of the best in the country and draws big crowds every year. There’s also Creepyworld in Fenton and Haunted Paintball Park in Millstadt.
STL Square Off Pizza Festival | October 14
St. Louis’s premier pizza festival returns to The Hill this fall, as local pizzarias — Square Off — for the title of “Best St. Louis Style Pizza.” Vote for your favorites and enjoy live music and family activities
St. Louis Renaissance Festival | Through October 14
Step into a 16th century French village, complete with period costumes, jousting demonstrations, crafts, food, music and more.
Fleetwood Mac | October 20
Spend an evening with with Fleetwood Mac when they come to Enterprise Center on Saturday, October 20!
Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival | October 27 – 28
The Apple Butter Festival is Kimmswick, Missouri’s largest celebration of the year. More than 100,000 visitors fill Market Street and the city park to sample apple butter and dozens of other foods. Hundreds of craft vendors sell their goods at booths around town.
Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis | Through October 28
Fright Fest, presented by SNICKERS®, is back for select days at Six Flags St. Louis! It’s a spooky time of year as zombies and ghouls take over the park. Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park.
