Oh What a Weekend in St. Louis!
Last weekend, September 6-8, was jam packed with sports, music, culture and art for both St. Louisans and visitors alike. The St. Louis Cardinals swept the Pittsburgh Pirates to take the lead in the National League Division. Loufest broke attendance records with more than 33,000 in attendance due to a great line up including The Killers, Wilco and Alabama Shakes in Forest Park. The Saint Louis Art Fair celebrated visual and performing arts in downtown Clayton with huge crowds. The Hispanic Festival brought cultural sounds to downtown St. Louis where thousands joined in the celebration. Chess fans got the amazing opportunity to meet the two best players in the world at the kick-off party for the Sinquefield Cup. Here’s a glimpse of all the excitement that took place in the STL!
