The City of Chesterfield's Parks, Recreation & Arts Department strives to be a leader in the progressive development, maintenance and operations of Parks, Recreation & Arts facilities. The Department is committed to provide a balance of active and passive Parks, Recreation & Arts facilities that enhance and preserve the conservation of environmental and natural resources. The department develops partnerships with community organizations and agencies, provides programs so people can grow, develop character, mature, learn skills, and respect for themselves and others, and work with citizens and community leaders to enhance its position as a premier place to live, work and play. Chesterfield has over 512 acres of beautiful parkland and trails available for residents and neighboring communities. Music and movie lovers can enjoy free concerts and movies at our state-of-the-art amphitheater. Nature lovers can go for a bike ride on one of our many trails or take a peaceful stroll around our lakes and paths.
