With over four decades of experience in the hotel and hospitality industries, he is recognized for his depth of professional knowledge, leadership, and achieving business results with integrity. Joe began his career at the internationally acclaimed Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Early in his career he worked with the New York Hilton, Chicago Hilton and Towers, Palmer House, Hyatt Regency Atlanta, Grand Hyatt New York, Dromoland Castle and the Limerick and Clare Inns in Ireland. Joe served as an Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Director, General Manager, Corporate Officer and Operating Partner, responsible for opening and operating more than 24 hotels and conference centers with Four Star standards - Vice President for Adam's Mark Hotels, Lincoln Hotel Company, Lodging Hospitality Management, and Signature Hospitality. A Past President and Chairman of the Missouri Restaurant Association. He has supervised major sports and entertainment events including the inaugural galas for Presidents Ronald Regan and George W. Bush and supported all protocol and service for the events hosted by President Barack Obama and Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geitner. Prior to developing Talent Connect, a hospitality training program for people with disabilities sponsored by UCPH, he served on advisory councils for Georgia State University, SLU Professional Studies Programs in Hospitality and the Paraquad advisory council for Bloom Café. He led operations for Levy Restaurants in St. Louis, serving the Scottrade Center, Edward Jones Dome, and the redevelopment of Peabody Opera House.
