This is a great park, especially to walk dogs. It is fairly busy, which is why I dropped it to 4 stars. The park is surrounded by old homes that were built by the original settlers in the mid-1700s...

I loved the house tours, but was equally impressed with the excellent vendors situated around the park. The vintage baseball game was wonderful and entertainign as well.

We met friends at Lafayette Square to walk, talk and catch up. We are all familiar with the area, we chose to meet here due to proximity to our eventual lunch destination. Certainly LS doesn’t show...
