Tavolo V is a casual affordable Italian restaurant serving fresh pastas, pizza, salads, antipasti, entrees, vegetarian dishes, and a diverse wine list. Expect to find giant meatballs, huge servings of lasagna and Neapolitan-ish style pizza. They are known for their vegetarian dishes, offering numerous appetizers, some fried, some grilled, and some raw. The owner, Michael Del Pietro’s maternal grandfather, Roy Russo opened Rossino's, serving the first pizza in St. Louis in 1954. His parents, Mary Rose and Michael Sr., opened Del Pietro's just off ""The Hill"" when Michael was 9 years old.

We drove into the Delmar Loop without a reservation... or even an idea of where we'd eat. As luck would have it, we got a parking place! I looked out my window and saw Tavolo V. I quickly checked...Full Review
Valentines Day so hopeful that it would be great after a long absence but not quite so. It is expensive, not comfortable with air from the ventilation blowing right at you and not very professional...Full Review
