LOUIS: St. Louis City and St. Louis County continued their strong recovery and growth trajectory in 2025 with significant gains in hotel performance metrics. According to data sourced from CoStar with STR Benchmark, which aggregates data from 90,000 hotels representing 11.8 million guest rooms in more than 190 countries, St. Louis outpaced all top 25 U.S. markets in both occupancy and demand growth, and delivered one of the strongest revenue per available room (RevPAR) gains in the nation. Key 2025 performance highlights year to date through November compared to 2024 include:Occupancy up 6.7% – leading the top 25 U.S. markets in percentage growth Demand up 5.8% – leading the top 25 U.S. markets in percentage growth RevPAR up 9.7% – the second highest percentage increase among the top 25 U.S. markets, trailing only San Francisco, CA“Of the top 25 markets, St. Louis has the second highest RevPAR gains this year (+9.7%). It has seen consistent RevPAR growth since February, with multiple months of double-digit gains,” said Isaac Collazo, senior director of analytics at STR, which is integrated with CoStar reporting, highlighting the region’s sustained momentum. The strong performance reflects a broad mix of leisure travel, conventions and meetings, sporting events and concerts across the region.
