Major Attractions, Events and Restaurants Continue Operations

ST. LOUIS – Following the EF3 tornado that struck the St. Louis region on Friday, Explore St. Louis confirms that the city’s primary visitor attractions, restaurants, hotels and convention venues remain open and operational. America’s Center is currently hosting the 2025 GEOINT Symposium, the nation’s largest gathering of geospatial intelligence professionals, underscoring the city’s readiness to welcome visitors and business travelers alike.

“St. Louis is resilient. As the entire community rallies to support those affected and mourn the loss of life, our city continues to move forward,” said Brad Dean, President and CEO of Explore St. Louis. “We stand with those impacted by the storm and know that the hardest-hit areas will take time to recover. While the recovery effort moves forward, the vast majority of the city’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem remains strong, open and eager to serve guests. By visiting St. Louis, you’re not just experiencing our vibrant culture, you’re playing a role in our recovery.”

Explore St. Louis encourages visitors and locals to verify hours of operation directly with businesses as cleanup and restoration continue in specific areas. Many local restaurants, attractions and entertainment venues are open and welcoming guests. The organization also encourages ongoing support for events and cultural institutions, which remain vital to the city’s energy and economic momentum.

Stakeholders and media partners are invited to help amplify this message of resilience and readiness by encouraging support for St. Louis’ tourism economy and sharing updates on business continuity across the region.
