Tenth Annual St. Louis Craft Beer Week Kicks Off

St. Louis Craft Beer Week marks its Tenth annual celebration of craft beer and the robust beer brewing history in St. Louis beginning next Friday, July 27th. Sponsored by Schnucks, Hugo’s Pizzeria and SmithAmundsen, Craft Beer Week festivities will run for 9 days through Saturday, August 4. This huge celebration officially kicks off at the “2018 St. Louis Brewer’s Picnic” presented by Baileys’ Restaurants, an indoor/outdoor family-friendly beer festival located in front of Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar and in the adjoining event space. The week wraps up with the 8th Annual Firkin Fest on August 4th, at International Tap House in Soulard (www.internationaltaphouse.com/stlcbw).

With more than 110 events spread across 9 days, beer lovers will have the opportunity to discover all St. Louis’s craft beer
scene has to offer. Featured events include:

Midwest Belgian Beer Fest presented by Perennial Artisan Ales on July28th at the Majorette in Maplewood
featuring a grand tasting of some of the best Belgian-style beers from around the United States.
3rd Annual STLCBW Run presented by the International Tap House on July 30th in Tower Grover Park,
featuring a 5k run/walk and a 10k run with beer, food truck, and live music.
Barrel-Aged Blowout on August 1st, highlighting a huge selection of big, barrel-aged beers at Llywelyn’s
Webster Groves
Le Tour de Baileys’ on August 2nd, a fun 10-mile bike ride and progressive tasting around the city. Riders pedal
their way to various Baileys’ Restaurants, stopping for food and beer pairings at each location. Sponsored by Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. SAG support provided by Big Shark Bicycle Company.

Saint Louis Hop Shop’s 4th Annual Shrimp Boil on August 2nd, taking place at the Byrd & Barrel, it’s a collaboration with the aforementioned Byrd and Barrel and 4 Hands Brewing. Enjoy some delectable 4 Hands beers paired with a traditional shrimp boil.

Celebrations at each venue range from Tap Takeovers to Beer Breakfasts and Dinners, Yoga and Beer, Meet the Brewer nights, homebrewing classes, special beer tastings and releases and more.
