5 Things To Do This Weekend in St. Louis 1/15 – 1/17
Happy Friday! It’s time for a fun-filled weekend in St. Louis. If you are still pulling your plans together, here are a few suggestions to help make this a memorable weekend.
Loop Ice Carnival | January 16
Good things will come to those willing to brave the cold this weekend at the 11th Annual Loop Ice Carnival. Appreciate the ice sculptures, drink to your content at the Putt-Putt Pub Crawl or participate in the human dog sled race. Four Hands will be providing the beer and Eclipse will have two signature cocktails available. And, since the dress code is “casual and cozy,” there’s no excuse not to bundle up and head out to The Loop.
Cabin Fever at Schlafly Bottleworks | January 16
Let Schlafly’s big, strong beers warm up your winter day! Join them for an afternoon of big music, big beers and big fun outside of Schlafly Bottleworks.
39th Annual St. Louis RV Vacation & Travel Show | January 14 – 17
We really want you to stay in St. Louis, but if you have to hit the road … hit it in style! More than 300 recreational vehicles will be on display this weekend at the 39th Annual St. Louis RV Vacation & Travel Show at America’s Center. It’s one of the largest public RV shows in the country
Eagle Days at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge | January 16 – 17
Watch eagles fishing, riding ice floes, soaring overhead and roosting in nearby tree while having access to an educational program featuring a live eagle and warming tent activities.
Spring Exhibitions Opening | January 15
Meet the artists at the Spring Exhibition opening at the Contemporary Art Museum. Get up close and personal with selected works of the preeminent figurative painter Lisa Yuskavage; the kinetic sculptures of Arcangelo Sassolino; new work by Tala Madani, Arlene Shechet, Peter Sutherland, Ned Vena, and The Propeller Group; and artwork created in 2015 by the St. Louis community through the ArtReach at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis program.
