Soulard Mardi Gras | February 6
The fun and frivolity will be in full force as the Bud Light Mardi Gras Grand Parade takes to the streets at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The parade begins just south of Busch Stadium and winds through the streets of Downtown South and Soulard to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. There will be more than 100 floats tossing over 10 million strands of beads and other sought-after goodies to the masses gathered along this festive route
Orchid Show 2016: Where Wild Things Grow | February 6–March 27
Mother Nature will be breaking out of her winter doldrums with the amazing beauty of the Orchid Show 2016: Where Wild Things Grow exhibit, which blooms at the Missouri Botanical Garden. This show gives visitors a glimpse at hundreds of orchids from the Garden’s expansive permanent living collection amid a tropical oasis inside the Orthwein Floral Display Hall.
Spies, Traitors, Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America | February 6–March 27
Experience the Missouri History Museum latest exhibit, ‘Spies, Traitors, Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America’ on display beginning this weekend. Created by the International Spy Museum, the exhibition provides an unprecedented perspective on terror and espionage on American soil from the Revolutionary War to present day.
Continuing the Legacy | February 5–6
COCA presents “Continuing the Legacy,” a music, dance and photography performance that chronicles black history from slavery to present day.
Anheuser Busch Tour Center Mardi Gras Celebration | February 6
Start your day in Soulard with a breakfast buffet at the brewery’s biergarten. Then head to the parade, and return to the brewery to enjoy live music from North of the Quarter, starting at 2 p.m. 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
