LouFest Music Festival: September 12-13
The wait is over as LouFest returns to Forest Park this weekend with a line-up featuring national and local bands on three stages, with food, unique vendors and a special area for kids! This year’s line-up includes: The Avett Brothers, Hozier, Ludacris, Young the Giant, Brandon Flowers, Billy Idol, Nate Ruess, Umphrey’s McGee, JJ Grey & Mofro, Pokey Lafarge, Blue October, Misterwives and many more.
Saint Louis Art Fair: September 11-13
Creative minds will be taking over downtown Clayton for the 22nd Annual St. Louis Art Fair this weekend. Festival goers will see works from visual artists from across the nation, along with live entertainment, educational hands-on activities for children and culinary treats from some of St. Louis’ finest restaurants, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy.
Art Outside: September 11-13
Schlafly’s Art Outside is a three-day-long juried alternative art fair featuring art from over 50 artists based here in the St. Louis area. Come and show your support for local art and local beer.
The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of Goddesses (STL Symphony Live at Powell Hall Concert): September 11-13
The popular video game The Legend of Zelda has been been brought to the symphonic arena. The performance will feature new arrangements of the game’s classic score and themes. Friday, September 11, 2015 at 7pm Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 7pm Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2pm
12th Annual Paddle with your Pooch: September 13
A dog-and-master boat race. There will be 3 heats, followed by a final race to determine the top dog. Reserve your spot in the race today. The entry fee is $40 per dog-and-master team, which includes one Paddle with your Pooch t-shirt. A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to Forest Park Forever for maintaining the beauty of the park.
