Ultimate Cardinals Weekend Getaway Sweepstakes — Official Rules

Terms and Conditions

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 A.M. CST on August 15, 2025 and ends at 5:00 P.M. CST on August 22, 2025. One entry per person.

2. All entries must be received before 5:00 P.M. CST on August 22, 2025. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States of America, age 21 and over. Employees and agents of Explore St. Louis (sometimes hereafter, “Sponsor”), the MLB Entities, and members of their immediate families are not eligible. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will not be considered.

3. Ways to enter include: completing the online entry form during the Entry Period; sending an email to webmaster@explorestlouis.com with “Ultimate Cardinals Weekend” in the subject line or by hand printing your name, address, zip code, and telephone number on a 3"x5" card and mailing it to:
Ultimate Cardinals Weekend, Explore St. Louis, 701 Convention Plaza, Suite 300, St. Louis, MO 63101. Mailed entries must be postmarked by August 22, 2025 and received by August 25, 2025.  No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.  

4. Explore St. Louis reserves the right to exclude entries containing photographs or text deemed inappropriate, illegal, or in violation of social media promotional policies.

5. By participating, all entrants grant Explore St. Louis a non-exclusive perpetual license to use names, characters, photographs, and likenesses for promotional purposes and waive any claims to royalty or compensation. Entrants agree that Explore St. Louis may disclose personal information obtained from entries for marketing purposes.

6. Entrants represent that all submitted materials (including text, photography, and video) are solely owned by the entrant and free of third-party claims. No commercially produced images allowed.

7. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and have no cash value.

8. Prize package includes:

o Four (4) tickets for winner and three (3) guests to a 2025 St. Louis Cardinals gamedetermined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (includes on-field batting practice viewing for winner and guests.)

o 2-night stay at a downtown St. Louis hotel (valued up to $500)

o $250 Visa Gift Card

o Four (4) tickets each to Union Station attractions, City Museum, and The Magic House (valued up to $300)
Approximate total prize value: $1,050. Prize does not include travel to/from St. Louis.

o Exact nature and duration of the batting practice viewing shall be determined in the sole discretion of the St. Louis Cardinals and subject to availability. Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see cardinals.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and their guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize; see cardinals.com/ballpark for details. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or their guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket.  

9. One (1) Ultimate Cardinals Weekend Getaway winner will be selected at random by a third-party sweepstakes company on August 26, 2025, and notified by Explore St. Louis via email or telephone. If the winner does not respond within (5) days or declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected.

10. Explore St. Louis is not responsible for misdirected, lost, late, interrupted entries or technical issues. All decisions of Explore St. Louis regarding the Sweepstakes are final.

11. By entering, participants release Explore St. Louis and the MLB Entities from any liability associated with participation or prize acceptance. Winner grants Explore St. Louis the right to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

12. Void where prohibited. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws.

13. Winner’s name may be obtained after September 5, 2025, by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Ultimate Cardinals Weekend, Explore St. Louis, 701 Convention Plaza, Suite 300, St. Louis, MO 63101.

14. Transportation to/from St. Louis is the responsibility of the winner.
