A Guide to Thanksgiving Dinner in St. Louis

Thanksgiving is upon us. Check out the menus at the following restaurants serving holiday feasts throughout the St. Louis area. You and your family are invited to gather around their table or place an order from their special carryout menus.

Adam’s Smokehouse: The barbecue joint is offering several meats for preorder, including smoked or whole roasted turkey, smoked chicken, ribs, beef brisket, or smoked salami with a wide selection of traditional Thanksgiving sides. Carryout: Place order by November 19 and specify pickup time on November 24. 2819 Watson, 314-875-9890.

Baileys' Restaurants: Offering a farm-to-table Thanksgiving menu. The menu includes smoked turkey, Brussel sprouts with butternut squash, oyster and cremini mushroom stuffing, sweet potatoes, cornbread, cranberries, turkey or vegan gravy and pies from Baileys' Bakery. Guests can places orders for pickup Nov. 15-24 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Rooster on South Grand, 3150 S Grand Blvd, St. Louis

Big Sky CaféThe Webster Groves café is offering brined turkey breast from Buttonwood Farms, seasoned with spiced apple bacon dressing, broccolini, and cranberry Dijon gravy. The menu comprises a selection of traditional sides and several pies, including carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, coconut chocolate mousse pie, caramel apple pecan pie, and bourbon pecan pie. Bogart’s SmokehouseSave the hassle of cooking and pick up a smoked, bacon-wrapped ham for 10-12 people or a whole smoked turkey breast for 6-8. $65 and $42. BotanicaThe new Italian restaurant in Wildwood is preparing several sides and desserts to take home and bake, including macaroni and cheese, collard greens with smoked ham hocks, roasted Brussels sprouts with aioli and parmesan, butter lettuce salad, buttermilk biscuits, and peach cobbler. Butler’s PantryOffering petite and full buffets to go with your choice of dips and spreads, salads, sides, and dessert. Meat options include whole roasted turkey, roasted turkey breast, classic glazed ham, and roasted pork loin. Several enhancements are also available. The Capital GrilleThe Clayton restaurant has all of the sides ready. The sides serve a total of four people for $125 and include brioche stuffing, housemade gravy, smashed potatoes, pecan-crusted sweet potatoes with hot honey, French green beans, cranberry-pear chutney, and seeded rolls. Dine in: Open 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Thanksgiving. 101 S. Clementine’s CreameryTop off your slice of pie with a lovely scoop from St. Louis’ beloved ice cream chain, which is offering four specialty ice cream flavors: Maple Bourbon Pecan, Chocolate Cabernet, Gooey Butter Cake, and Salted Cracker Caramel. Pints range from $12–$15. All locations.

Cafe La Vie: the restaurant inside Clayton’s Le Meridien hotel, has a special Thanksgiving package that feeds up to four. The meal features brined, roasted turkey breast and several sides, including roasted Brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, ciabatta dinner rolls and a 10-inch pumpkin pie. Cinder HouseThe downtown restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis is offering an a la carte menu of roasted turkey, charred corn and herb dressing, sweet potato mole, fire roasted Brussels sprouts, and cranberry lime jus for $60 per person. It's also providing a carryout option featuring grilled citrus and herb buttered turkey with Brussels sprouts and bacon, confit cipollini onions, and queso fresco, whipped roasted garlic and celeriac potatoes, sweet potato hash with ginger and toasted marshmallow, three-cheese cauliflower gratin with cheddar breadcrumbs, stuffing, roasted winter squash with poached cranberries and goat cheese, and sautéed haricot vert with maitake mushrooms and a mix of roasted and crispy shallots. The meal comes with two types of salads, apple cranberry sauce, herb turkey gravy, pumpkin pie with vanilla Chantilly, and cranberry almond tart. Dalie’s SmokehouseChoose from your choice of two meats (whole smoked turkey with gravy or bacon-wrapped ham) and two sides (green bean casserole and sweet potato peach casserole). The package feeds eight to 10 people for $95. An a la carte menu is also available. Grace Meat + ThreeThe Grove restaurant is offering an a la carte menu with whole turkeys either roasted or smoked with your choice of brine and seasonings. Sides feature house dressing, green bean casserole, bourbon whipped sweet potatoes, garlic whipped mashed potatoes, cranberries, and honey butter rolls. For dessert, indulge in three kinds of pies: pumpkin, bourbon pecan, or salted honey custard. Hamilton HospitalityThe multi-concept restaurant group is offering an a la carte-style menu with four main-course options: whole roasted turkey with stuffing and gravy, five pounds of prime rib with au jus and horseradish crema, two entire racks of lamb with a demi-glace, and three pounds of toasted salmon with lemon pepper aioli. Focaccia, spinach salad, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes with stuffing and gravy, and roasted cauliflower and carrots are available as side options. Morton's The SteakhouseServing a special Thanksgiving menu that features oven-roasted turkey roulade, sage and cranberry stuffing, winter salad, smoked gouda au gratin, baked corn souffle, creamed spinach, green beans almondine, and pumpkin cheesecake with salted caramel sauce. $59 per person. Nathaniel Reid BakeryThe Kirkwood bakery is offering several sweet items and assortment boxes, including an Autumn macaron box, chocolate croissant bread pudding, and more. The bakery is also stocking a small variety of savory bacon and four-cheese quiches. Carryout: Pre-order by November 17 while supplies last, and pick up through November 24. Orlando’sThe family-style buffet offers roasted turkey of dark and white meat served with rich gravy, choice of three sides from a traditional selection of Thanksgiving dinner counterparts, buttered rolls, cranberry sauce, garden salad, and pumpkin pie. Russell'sThe popular neighborhood restaurant is offering several fall-flavored pies and cakes for carryout. Pie flavors include pumpkin, apple, cherry, apple cranberry, chocolate cream, pecan, and lemon meringue. Pies range from $17.95–$27.50. Holiday cakes are offered in the flavors signature chocolate with espresso buttercream, buttermilk pound cake with fall-spiced buttercream, pumpkin spice latte, toasted coconut, s'mores, and carrot. The Shaved DuckOffering an a la carte menu with a whole cherry and hickory smoked turkey and smoked turkey breast by the pound. Featured sides include kale and butternut squash salad, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, stuffing, green bean and sweet potato casseroles, and a baguette with roasted garlic butter. Super Smokers BBQThe holiday catering menu offers whole smoked turkey, smoked bacon–wrapped pork loin, smoked sliced turkey, homemade dressing with sweet apples and cranberries, homemade green beans with sweet peppers, sweet potato casserole, garlic mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, and whole pumpkin and cherry pies. Sides are portioned to feed groups of six to 10 and 15 to 20 people. Prices vary. Carryout: Pre-order and pick up on November 23 and 24. Both Affton and Eureka locations.

SqWire’sThe Lafayette Square restaurant is offering plated dinners for $32 per person with sliced turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and wild mushrooms, cranberry sauce, a dinner roll, and a slice of apple pie. A la carte items are also available, including a whole roasted turkey. Carryout: Pre-order by noon on November 19, and pick up from noon–7 p.m. on November 24 or from 8 a.m.–noon. November 25. Winslow's TableThe University City restaurant is offering several savory, sweet, and single-serve options. The carryout menu features herb-roasted turkey breast, leg, and thigh from Buttonwood Farm, green bean casserole, cranberry compote, and more. The single-serve meal includes turkey breast with gravy, mashed potatoes, kale and mushroom stuffing, cranberry dressing, roasted carrot salad, and fresh bread with butter for $25.
