St. Lou is Looking For You!

Get into the action and volunteer with the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission (CVC). You’ll be “in the know” about all of the new attractions, sporting events and special activities that take place in St. Louis, and you’ll meet lots of new people from St. Louis and around the world!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There are several different ways to be a part of St. Louis’ best welcoming committee. CVC volunteers provide a warm welcome and personal service to help vacationers, convention delegates, and business travelers make the most of their St. Louis experience.

VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER STAFFERS

Join the team at one of the CVC’s six Visitor Information Centers located in the area. There are three downtown locations, including on the lower level of St. Louis Union Station; at the America’s Center convention complex; and in Kiener Plaza. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport has two info centers – one each in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 – and there’s one at the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor & Education Center in Forest Park.

CONVENTION VOLUNTEER TEAM

Our Convention Volunteer Team (CVT) members have the opportunity to promote St. Louis during major conventions and tradeshows held at America’s Center. This group of enthusiastic, uniformed volunteers helps convention delegates explore St. Louis and navigate through the convention complex. CVT’ers are called to action during the approximately 30 major conventions and special events held at the convention center throughout the year.

GATEWAY GREETERS

The Gateway Greeters, another group of friendly faces on the St. Louis hospitality team, make sure that visitors receive a warm welcome and friendly assistance. The airport is often a traveler’s first exposure to St. Louis, so Greeters need to be knowledgeable about a variety of dining, sightseeing, shopping and the best ways to get around town. In addition to providing all the “insider” information that only a local would know, Gateway Greeters help assist passengers find their way around the airport.

CVC VOLUNTEER CENTRAL

Active CVC volunteers can now use CVC Volunteer Central. This online feature gives you an easy way to keep-in-touch with the volunteer program. You can check your schedule, sign up for open shifts, receive messages, update your contact information and much more anytime you have access to the internet.
