Greater St. Louis Renaissance Faire (Dates Vary)
Travel back in time as you step into the beautifully wooded, 16th century village called Petit Lyon! Immerse yourself in the costumes and mannerisms of the era. Thrill to the exploits of Jousting Knights on thundering steeds. Roam the village shops for unique crafts and goods as artisans demonstrate period skills. Delight in comedy, music and feats of derring-do. Feast on delicious food and drink while strolling minstrels entertain. Interact with the colorful villagers, nobles, peasants and personalities of ages past. 6th Annual Spring to Dance® Festival 2013
The festival provides a cornucopia of styles from ballet and contemporary dance to hip-hop and tap as dancers from 30 companies across the country gather for three nights of nonstop performances. "Twelfth Night!," Shakespeare Festival St. Louis (Dates Vary)
See "Twelfth Night!," under the stars in beautiful Forest Park. Bring blankets or chairs for lawn seating. Bring your own picnic or enjoy a box dinner from the on-site caterer. Come early for the traditional Green Show where dancers, musicians, jugglers and other entertainers interact with the audience. Thursday performances are signed for the hearing impaired. Saint Louis Bluesweek Festival
This free Blues festival celebrates the rich Blues history of St. Louis with a weekend packed full of music, food, and good times. This year's event features the first ever BBQ Battle Royale with 30 teams competing to win cash, prizes and of course, big-time bragging rights. Headlining on Saturday, May 25 is Blues legend Mavis Staples.
