The Progress of Love Exhibit

This exhibition is an intercontinental collaboration between the Pulitzer, the Menil Collection in Houston and the Center for Contemporary Art in Lagos, Nigeria. The three concurrent exhibitions constitute a narrative arc, embracing love as an ideal, love as a lived experience and love as something lost. The Pulitzer exhibition will focus on the end of love’s spectrum. It will explore the loss of love and its aftermath through works by the British-Nigerian artists Zina Saro-Wiwa and Yinka Shonibare, as well as the French artist Sophie Calle.
