Celebrate Independence Day at O’Fallon’s annual Heritage & Freedom Fest, a four-day family-friendly festival held at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex. From July 1st–4th, 2026, guests can enjoy carnival rides, delicious fair food, free entertainment, live music, and plenty of patriotic fun.

The 2026 Heritage & Freedom Fest will feature an exciting concert lineup, including country favorites LOCASH and Lauren Alaina on July 3rd and legendary rock band KANSAS on July 4th. Both evenings will conclude with spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the night sky.

Just looking for carnival fun? July 1st kicks off the festivities with Carnival Kick-off Night, while July 2nd is Family Night, offering a night of carnival rides and fair fun, with a smaller crowd.

Admission is free, with unlimited carnival ride wristbands available for purchase online in advance or at the event. Free parking, shuttles, premium parking, and ADA parking are also available.

The community is also invited to join for the annual Heritage & Freedom Fest Parade on July 4th. The parade begins at the intersection of Civic Drive and Main Street. t’s a beloved Independence Day tradition and a great way to start a day of celebration.
