“Mill Creek: Black Metropolis” Closing Celebration
The Missouri History Museum presents “Mill Creek: Black Metropolis” Closing Celebration July 10th - 12th!
The community is invited to join the Missouri History Museum for the closing weekend of Mill Creek: Black Metropolis.
The weekend starts Friday, July 10, 2026, with a Mill Creek After-Hours Homecoming featuring DJ Lamar Harris, remarks from exhibit curator Gween Moore, and a dance tribute by Mademoiselle Mystique.
The celebration continues Saturday night with a concert—A Night at Peacock Alley: Mill Creek's Musical Legacy.
Sunday concludes the weekend celebration with a play—Mourning Mill Creek, which reflects on the lasting legacy of Mill Creek and its impact on the community today.
