The Magic House presents Passport To The World: Cultural Program Series on June 20th, July 25th, and August 15th!
From the Argentinian Tango Festival to Diwali Festival of Lights to a Chinese New Year Celebration join The Magic House in celebrating cultures from around the world in the year-long Passport To The World: Cultural Program Series!
Each program will provide engaging, interactive and hands-on opportunities that will help to promote global literacy and foster tolerance and inclusion of different traditions, religions, appearances, languages and art forms.
Korean Taekwondo
Date: June 20, 2026
Performance Times: 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
Location: Story Time Theater
Join The Magic House in celebrating Korea this month through the dynamic martial art of Taekwondo where discipline, physical fitness and mental strength come together in a blend of self-defense and modern sport. During this program, guests will get to see Taekwondo in action and learn some moves.
African Storytelling
Date: July 25, 2026
Location: Story Time Theater
In July, The Magic House celebrates the vibrant traditions of diverse countries across Africa through stories and fables told by Kenyan storyteller, Catherine Ndegwa. Through the captivating art of storytelling, you will be transported to countries across the continent. Experience the magic of this timeless oral tradition that will immerse young viewers into new worlds and offer hands-on experiences to become part of the story.
Argentina’s Tango Festival

Location: Story Time Theater
In Argentina, tango dancing expresses and celebrates national heritage and identity. Although Tango originates in Argentina, the dance has become well-known around the world. This August, be a part of the Argentine Tango tradition with special Tango performances and workshops for dancers of all ages.
